I have a 1992 40HP johnson. The lower unit pinion gear was shredded and took out the drive shaft bearings. I have all the parts needed for the repair along with the service manual. In the manual it states I need OMC special tool 391257 and pinion service kit 433033 to install the pinion bearing.
